Wicked Sprockets Bicycle Co.
AI Shop Assistant Demo

Meet Axel — the AI front office for a custom bicycle builder in Atlanta. Every call, every text, every chat, around the clock. No hold music, no phone tree, and he has never once said “your call is important to us.”

Meet Axel

Axel, the Wicked Sprockets AI shop assistant

Axel answers every channel for Wicked Sprockets Bicycle Co., a fictional custom bicycle builder in Atlanta — hand-laid carbon frames, race builds, CNC-machined drivetrain parts, and a service and fit studio. He is easygoing, quick, a little irreverent, and he knows the catalog like he built it himself.

He is also our most complete demo yet: one brain on three channels — phone, SMS, and the web chat on this very page — with a custom voice and real photo comprehension. Text him a picture of your drivetrain and he will tell you what fits it. This is the same production pipeline a real shop would run: streaming speech recognition, a fast vision-capable model, and a voice with an actual personality.

What Axel Can Do

  • Quote a custom carbon frame from your ride style, budget, and fit basics — all 27 geometry variables of it
  • Price a complete signature build — Hellcat SL, Grave Digger 29, or Night Shift — and swap components on the build sheet live
  • Check parts compatibility — including from a photo you text to the shop
  • Give an honest opinion on a bike photo — what to upgrade first, and what to leave alone
  • Look up order status and start a 30-day return by order number
  • Book service and fit-studio appointments — tune-ups, suspension, drivetrain overhauls, full fit sessions on the jig
  • Answer hours, location, and policy questions — and hold the line, politely, on the final-sale rule for custom frames
  • Hand off warmly to Sierra at the front desk or the Main Parts Queue during business hours
  • Carry the whole conversation over SMS or web chat instead — same Axel, same number, same brain
  • Switch to Spanish mid-sentence and keep rolling — en inglés y en español

This Season’s Weapons

Three signature builds, a custom frame program, and a machine shop full of parts. Ask Axel what any of it costs, what fits what, or what he’d ride — he has opinions.

How this works in production: the shop’s hours and policies live in a managed AI Knowledge Base, and the catalog and pricing live in Axel’s own agent configuration — both edited by the owner in one simple admin UI. Every channel reads the same source, so update a price or a policy once and the phone, the texts, and this chat all answer with the new one.

Three Ways to Connect With Axel

One assistant, three channels. Call for the full voice experience, text him a photo, or open the chat bubble right here — the sprocket never sleeps.

Phone Call

Call and talk bikes with Axel

A natural, low-latency voice conversation with a custom voice that actually sounds like a guy who works in a bike shop. He handles interruptions, changed minds, and spec questions without missing a shift.

(770) 676-2437 Call this number

Tip: Try “I race crits and I want something under 7 kilos — what would a Hellcat build cost?” — then start swapping components.

Try the photo trick: Mention your current bike. Axel will ask you to text a photo mid-call — send it and listen to him read your drivetrain like a menu.

Text Message

Text Axel — photos welcome

The entire experience works over SMS on the same number — and this is where the camera comes out. Text a photo of your drivetrain, your cassette, or your whole bike and Axel checks compatibility before your coffee cools.

(770) 676-2437 Text this number

Tip: Send a bike photo with “what should I upgrade first?” — he has opinions, and he’ll defend them.

Web Chat

Chat with Axel in your browser

The same Axel that answers the phone lives in the chat bubble on this page — and on wickedsprockets.com, where he runs the whole front office. Same brain, same catalog, same attitude.

What to Ask Axel

Axel knows the three signature builds, the custom frame program, the parts catalog, the service menu, and every policy in the shop. Try to stump him — that’s the point.

Quote a Frame or Build

Ride style, budget, fit basics — he prices the whole build sheet while you’re still talking.

  • “I race crits and I want something under 7 kilos — what would a Hellcat build cost?”
  • “Build me a gravel rig for washboard forest roads, under nine grand.”
  • “What do the 27 fit variables actually mean for how it rides?”
  • “Swap the wheels on the Night Shift for something deeper — what does that do to the price?”
  • “What’s the lead time on a custom frame right now?”

Text Him a Photo

The showstopper. Axel reads your actual bike and answers like a mechanic leaning over it.

  • “Will a 34-tooth sprocket clear my Grave Digger’s chainstay?” — then text the photo he asks for.
  • Text a photo of your drivetrain and ask “what cassette fits this?”
  • Send your whole bike and ask “what should I upgrade first?”
  • “Be honest — is this setup holding me back?” (He will be honest.)
  • On a call, mention the photo — he’ll ask you to text it mid-call and read it back while you’re still on the line.

Orders & Returns

Order status by number, 30-day returns end to end — and one rule he will not bend.

  • “Where’s order 4417, and can I return the cassette that came with it?”
  • “The chainring I ordered is still sealed — start a return for me.”
  • “What’s your return window on standard parts?”
  • “Can I return a custom frame?” — custom work is final sale. Try to talk him out of it.
  • “My order shows delivered but it’s not here — what now?”

Book Service or a Fit

Tune-ups, suspension, overhauls, and full fit sessions on the jig — booked end to end.

  • “My shifting is skipping under load — can someone look at it Saturday morning?”
  • “Book me a full fit session on the jig.”
  • “What does a drivetrain overhaul run, and how long do you keep the bike?”
  • “Do you service suspension forks in-house?”
  • “I need it back before my race Sunday — can you do that?”

Pro Tips for the Best Experience

  • Send the photo. The drivetrain compatibility check from a texted photo is the single most impressive thing you can try on this demo.
  • Switch to Spanish mid-conversation. Axel follows without a beat — en inglés y en español, no transfer, no menu.
  • Try to stump him on policy. Custom frames are final sale. Push on it and watch him hold the line without ever getting stiff about it.
  • Call after hours. The humans keep shop hours; Axel doesn’t. Call at midnight and hear the 24/7 front office while the workshop is dark.
  • Try all three channels. Ask in this chat, call to hear the voice, then text a photo — same Axel, same brain, same catalog on every channel. And during a live call, texts reach him in real time: that’s the mid-call photo trick.
